Nakiri is a kitchen knife specially designed for cutting vegetables.
Unlike Santoku, Nakiri is rectangular in shape.
Japanese style thin-blade kitchen knives are single-edged, but Nakiri are double-edged.
You can use this type of knife in the same way as Santoku, but if you cut hard food, the blade will be chipped.
