以前、山秀で販売したカーボンクロスを使用したナイフのプロトタイプ。

浦邊氏が海外の顧客より「カーボンハンドルの側面が上面と同じようにならないか」と問われて考案したハンドル。

一度型を取ってからカーボンクロスを整形してマイカルタを包む…という思った以上に手間のかかるハンドルで、今までにない表情が見どころです。

マイカルタの剛性とカーボンクロスの強靭性を兼ね備えています。

This is a prototype of a carbon cloth handle knife we sold earlier. The carbon handle was designed by Urabe following a request from a foreign customer for the same side as the upper face. He made a mold and then shaped the carbon cloth which is then wrapped with Micarta. So the work on the handle is rather time-consuming. Enjoy this unique texture you might have never seen before. Not only beautiful to look at, this knife is tough and rigid.
